Good Neighbors International (GNI) an international Non Governmental organization working in the field of child centered education with the community development approach since 2002 in Nepal invites the application for the following post from the qualified and deserving candidates.

Required positions with Major Responsibilities and job specification:

  1. Herbal Product Development officer: 1(Head office, Kathmandu with frequent field visit)

. Conduct research on herbal plants and develop a good and logical formula following modern processing of natural herbs.

-identifying, characterizing and standardizing the herbal ingredients in the formula and installation of processing units for manufacture the formula in a quality controlled environment proving a consistent product time after time.

-Network building with line agencies and other stakeholders, vendor indetificationa dn handling the herbal purchasing.

-Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with at least 2 years of working experience on herbal products, especially on cosmetic, medical essentiall oil products and other health care product.

2. Herbal product Marketing officer: 1 (Head office, Kathmandu with frequent field visit)

-Plan and research overall marketing and e-marketing for promoting and publicizing the herbal products and execute marking plan.

-Networking, negotiating and communicating with line agencies and clients and support a broad range of marketing activities including advertising, promotion, selling and distribution.

-Act as a liaison between buyer and seller and attend sales meeting, generate reports, graphs, spreadsheets and other business documents.

-Bachlor’s degree in management and at least of 2 years working experience in marketing and customer service with two wheeler driving license.

3. Civil engineer-1(District office Doti with frequent field visit)

-Prepare the infrastructure guideline as per budget allocated in plan of Action (POA)

-Organize the project feasibility works, desk study / previous reports, conduct engineering surveying works, analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.

-Prepare the final design /specification of the project, detail cost estimate, abstract of cost & the implementation plan of Good Neighbors International (GNI) infrastructural work.

 

-Monitor & supervise the construction projects to ensure that procedures, materials and equipment comply with approved.

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 5 years working experience in infrastructure construction like community center building, roads, cannels and water reservoirs etc.

4.Cooperative development officer-1(Regional office, Tikapur, kailali with frequent field visit)

-Planning for new community based cooperative establishment in target communities and assist to establish the microenterprises.

-Develop and formulate cooperative manual and policies and establish necessary infrastructures required for facilitating the process of cooperative developenet.

-Conduct research and study on various aspects of cooperative in the communities self help group formation from the target community people, provide suggestion and encourage organizing need based cooperatives which may be self inspired self relint self sustained and autonomous.

-Bachlor’s degree in economics or management/BSC Ag Economic is preferable with training understaken in cooperative development, enterprise promotion and community empowerment and at least 2 years work experience.

Level: 5 ii ‘b’ salary: Max Annual Gross NRs 2,91,400/- Contract period: 1 year initially

 

-Monitor & supervise the construction projects to ensure that procedures, materials and equipment comply with approved.

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 5 years working experience in infrastructure construction like community center building, roads, cannels and water reservoirs etc

Note : Salary for position 1, 2 and 3 is negotiable and contract period is fixed Term. Please mention your salary expectation. All should have good presentation and communication skill in English and Nepali language with strong working knowledge of mricrosoft office including internet explorer, outlook, word, powerpoint and excel. Two wheeler driving license is a must for all the posititions.
