Logistic officer-Low birth weight project
The position holder will be responsible for providing logistic and cash transfer support to the low broth weight(LBW) project partner/s to maintain food store properly. Design food delivery and storage and handling mechanism. The responsibilities will also include designing of overall logistic and operational plan to supply food commodity and cash transfer. Provide technical support to partner organizations in managing their warehouses i.e. extended delivery point (EDP) and food distribution point (FDP) properly, check and update the warehouse status as per requirements ensure all food commodities supplied are in accordance to the agreed quantity and quality and safely reach to the hands of beneficiaries and provide necessary support in cash and food distribution to the right holders The position will be based in Dhanusa/Mahottari.
Term: one year (will possibility of extension)
Required Qualification: At least Bachelor’s degree and more than 3 year of experience in the field of logistic management in Emergency
Required Knowledge and skills: He/She should have logistic management skill, working experience in emergency related projects and cash transfer including supply chain managements, networking & coordination skills, communication skills, planning and budgeting skills, skills on monitoring and supervision, facilitation skills and proficiency in writing technical and programmatic reports. Fluency in written and spoken Nepali and English. Computer skill is must.
