Program Officer – Western Hills – 1 position (Field Based)
Program Officer – Western Hills will be responsible for the management and coordination of SSP program activities for the field office to ensure a strong, comprehensive program that responds to the specific, unique situation in each district.
Minimum Required Qualification and Skills:
Master’s level education (MPH, MA) with at least three years minimum work experience in health program implementation/management or Bachelor’s degree and minimum five years of relevant experience is required; clinical skills preferred (medical doctor or nurse).
Knowledge of public health research methodology, data management concepts and HIV/AIDS experience will be an asset.
Ability to work independently, multi-task with minimal supervision, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, resourceful in resolving problems and initiating solutions and work well with others to develop and maintain positive working relationships, excellent oral and written English skills.
